season to be "jolie" Fa la la la la, la
la la la ! Yay! The MAC holiday collection is already available in stores and online : FR & US.
I just received this Advance Brush Kit that is actually from "Primped Out" line. There are 3 kits available and each kit retails for 56,00 euros and considering that MAC brushes are really expensive, this is the perfect time to try several brushes at once. That breaks down to 11,20 euros per brush if you don't include the pretty in pink leopard print travel case.
The Advanced Brush Kit includes 167 Bronzer Brush, 168 Large Angled Contour Brush, 239 Eye Shader Brush, 217 Blending Brush and 212 Flat Definer Brush. They are shorter than standard size brushes, if you like brushes with long handles these might not be for you. Though the bristles are sweet and soft, as the usual Mac brushes, it comes in a very pale pink color, they are really cute and chic!
Tip: When you invest in make up brushes, make sure that the bristles
are soft and the handle fits comfortably in your
hand. If you take care for your brushes properly, they can last for many
years. It always pays to purchase quality brushes if you are willing to take
care of it.
Take note that MAC has never offered a set of full-sized makeup brushes except Pret-a-Porter Brush Set (November 2006) and the 2008 Holiday Set for Nordstrom. The set comes with a black satin brush roll. So when you see a full-sized MAC brush set on eBay, it is FAKE. As a matter of fact, 99% of the brand new full-sized MAC brush sets being sold on line (like eBay) are FAKE!
