They're Real!

A quick mascara application brightens and opens up your eyes. It is the easiest and effective way to draw attention to the window of your soul. Uhm, let’s think of a mascara wand as a magic wand that will quickly transform you to a princess with fab eyelashes. ;)

I am currently using They're Real from Benefit. And I would say this is probably the best mascara I have tried, and just like how Benefit describes it "They're real! lengthens, curls, volumizes, lifts & separates. Our jet black, long-wearing formula won't smudge or dry out. A specially designed brush reveals lashes you never knew you had!" The only thing I can add is, it needs extra effort when removing it, for it can stay like forever.

This mascara gives you a perfect thick and long lashes without the "clumpy-ness" or looking like Kim K’s "spider lashes" - those lashes that look like tarantula legs! lol. (Can you picture what I'm saying? Well I seriously don't find it attractive!)

Tip No. 1
Don't pump the wand in the tube. This will push air into the mascara and cause it to dry out.

Tip No. 2
Don't share your mascara! Mascara is a potential breeding ground for bacteria that can cause eye infections.

Here's a quick trivia: The first mascara was invented by Eugene Rimmel in the 19th century. The word "rimmel" means mascara in French and Italian. Early mascara was made from coal dust mixed with petroleum jelly. It came in a cake form that a chemist made for his sister Mabel, which eventually became the company Maybelline.

Don't you just love makeup history class? Hehe!
