Enters the most loved budget-friendly MUA Cosmetics lipstick.
These MUA lipsticks are available in 16 flattering shades to fit anyone's taste, and it's an assortment of shades and textures. All are creamy and moisturizing, smoothly glides on the lips.
For the packaging, nothing fancy but there's a little sweet surprise at the bottom. It comes in a simple plastic tube and at the bottom you'll find a twist off small jar of the same shade. Just awesome. And did I mention that it has an awesome friendly price tag too?
Some are super pigmented and some are not - yes, they are not created equal. The pigmentation varies from shade to shade, some shades are very sheer, some with glitters, and some are satin. Glittery lipsticks doesn't really float my boat, but nevertheless these lippies are great budget alternative. You can even get all these 16 shades without having to cost an arm and a leg!

Overall, I like 9 out of 16 shades - not bad! Most really deliver good color coverage, and these are the two of my favorites, Shade 1 and 13 - they are sultry, sexy, satin red. I personally like shades 2, 3, 7, 11, 14, 15 and 16 too. These shades are the most pigmented and less shimmery and glittery. These lippies are really impressive for its price and a great steal!
Shade 1 (on the right) is gorgeous vampy red while Shade 13 (on the left) is bright and playful red.
Just a quick comparison of MUA red lipsticks and MAC matte red lipsticks, the shades are slightly similar they just differ in finish. You can always achieve a matte-looking lips by "lightly" patting a translucent powder, and apply another coat of lipstick!
Regardless the finish, of course the iconic red pout will never be anything but stylish.

Remember girls, when shopping for lipsticks, choose colors that flatter your complexion and hair color... And choose a shade and a finish that you are comfortable wearing.
